Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SYNC ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use SYNC.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SYNC. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. Notify us immediately at support@trysync.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the content you create on SYNC. By posting, you grant SYNC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

You must not post content that:

• Is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent.
• Infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
• Contains malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Violates anyone's privacy or exposes personal information without consent.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions (User Premium, Creator Pro, Brand Pro) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

5. Creator Earnings and Payouts

Creators earn through votes, voice reactions, room entry fees, tips, and brand deals. Earnings are subject to SYNC's platform fee as disclosed in the Creator Studio. Payouts are processed according to the payout schedule in your account settings. We reserve the right to withhold payouts if we detect fraudulent activity.

6. Brand Deals

Brand deals facilitated through SYNC are agreements between creators and brands. SYNC acts as a marketplace only and is not a party to those agreements. Creators are responsible for fulfilling sponsored content obligations and disclosing partnerships as required by applicable advertising regulations.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Manipulating votes, reputation scores, or engagement metrics artificially.
• Scraping or automated access without written permission.
• Reverse engineering any part of the platform.
• Using the platform to conduct or facilitate illegal activity.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Disclaimers

SYNC is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the platform will be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SYNC's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to SYNC in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
