• Account data — username, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up.
• Profile data — display name, avatar, bio, and any brand settings you configure.
• Content — cards, voice reactions, room messages, and other content you create.
• Usage data — interactions such as votes, follows, and room participation.
• Payment data — subscription and payout transactions are processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status; we never see your full card number.
• Device data — IP address, browser type, and session identifiers for security.

How We Use Your Information

• Operate and improve the SYNC platform.
• Personalize your feed and reputation scores.
• Process payments and creator payouts.
• Send account-related notifications (no marketing without consent).
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Vercel — for hosting and edge delivery.
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which will permanently remove your personal information within 30 days.

Your Rights

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Children

SYNC is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 7 days before they take effect.
